REGINA centers on two migrants cramped in a hidden compartment on a ship en route to Mars, fleeing a burning Earth where only the 1% are granted safe passage out. With little to do, survival at stake, and crushing forces nearby, we see time morph, inner-psychology burst, and guilt, trauma, fear and hope emerge to the surface. Whether friends or enemies, together or separate, destined to survive or die – REGINA asks what role love plays in forgiveness and forgiveness in love – and how or if this might help us as we own the past, live in the present, and look toward the future...
